I could literally write several paragraphs about how incredible this place is. Making my appointment was so simple, I got an appointment very quick, and I was very fortunate to draw Brenda, to braid my hair. First of all, I could have spent all day in there conversing with Brenda. You're not going to meet a friendlier, smarter, more thoughtful human being anywhere you go. On top of her personal skills, she is the best braider I have ever sat with. I could not be happier with my braids. I will never go anywhere else, I will come to Baraka's for any and all of my Salon needs and I strongly recommend that anyone do the same. Thank you Esther for getting me in here, and thank you Brenda for making this such and enjoyable afternoon.

This my first time ever coming to Baraka Beauty & Esther did an amazing job with my hair. If you want your hair braided I recommend you guys to come check out this place because they will definitely get you right! Also the employees are very nice and they take good care of their clients.

This is my first time starting the journey of getting locs, and I couldn’t be happier to have Esther guiding me through it. From the very beginning, she has been amazing, providing thoughtful advice and helpful suggestions on how to start and maintain the process. Esther is extremely professional and attentive, always making sure I’m comfortable. Her positive attitude and friendly personality make it a pleasure to sit in her chair, even for long appointments. I highly recommend Baraka Beauty Supply & Salon, and especially Esther if you’re looking for someone who truly cares about her craft and her clients.

I just had the best experience at Baraka Beauty! I came in to get my hair colored and braided, and the stylist went above and beyond to coordinate both services into one appointment which was amazing because I had an event I needed to make it to. They truly worked with my schedule, and I appreciated that so much. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and felt completely taken care of. There was full transparency about pricing from the beginning, which made everything stress-free. I sat in Judy’s chair, and what started as casual conversation about work turned into something much more meaningful. Judy is not only incredibly talented, but also so encouraging, insightful, and kind. I never once felt judged. She offered great advice about life, business, and even finances. We talked about asking for what you deserve at work, and she reminded me of my worth and that my hard work is paying off. At one point she said, “I’m proud of you. If there’s anything I can do to support your business, let me know.” That meant everything. We even swapped apartment ideas and she gave me tips on how to align with my boss’s vision in order to grow professionally and build security. Judy and her family also give back to communities both locally and globally. she’s truly inspiring. If you’re looking for quality service and real connection, I can’t recommend Baraka Beauty and Judy enough.
